Katlyn Morris, a colleague of MIT Morningside Academy for Design (MAD), is an architect, artist, researcher and teacher who has studied psychoanally and used Learning Neline Learning Tools to teach himself coding and other skills. The first step in its research is to determine which elements of social interaction are not changable by an AI-based digital teacher. Following that assessment, its aim is to create a prototype platform for experimental education.
Morris explains, “I am creating tools that can trac the observable behaviors together – such as physical actions, signs of language, and patterns of interaction – when capturing subjective experiences of learners through reflection and interviews.” “This approach helps people to connect to how they feel about their education experience.
“I aim to give two primary contributions: first, analysis tools for studying social education mobility; and secondly, prototype tools that show practical approaches to support social curiosity in a digital education environment.
